The UK government has reversed its decision to limit this year's Winter Fuel Payment to only those on Pension Credit. Chancellor Rachel Reeves confirmed that up to £300 will be paid to pensioners earning £35,000 or less. Eligibility is based on age and residency during the week of September 15-21, with 9 million people in England and Wales qualifying.
