💨 Abstract
Decathlon, a high street retailer, will offer a full refund on any used tent purchased over the summer, encouraging customers to return them instead of abandoning them. The scheme, which ran in 2023 and has been expanded, allows customers to return tents bought between June 9 and September 14, in exchange for a Decathlon gift card. This initiative aims to reduce waste from abandoned tents at festivals, which contain significant plastic.
