💨 Abstract
Volkswagen plans to introduce an all-electric GTI range, starting in 2026. CEO Thomas Schafer promises the cars will be "mind-blowing" to drive. The first model will be the ID GTI, a performance version of the ID 2 supermini. An electric GTI version of the new Golf will also launch by the end of the decade.
