💨 Abstract
Gargrave residents have planned measures to manage the annual Appleby Horse Fair travellers, to prevent past issues such as anti-social behavior, human waste in bushes, and noise from generators. The Parish Council has erected £15,000 fencing and concrete blocks to restrict camping areas and set rules like limiting horse-drawn caravans’ rest time. The council collaborated with Leeds GATE and local authorities to keep the village 'conflict-free' during the fair.
