Charlotte May Lee, a 21-year-old British beauty technician, was arrested at Colombo Airport in Sri Lanka for alleged drug smuggling. She faces up to 25 years in prison for possessing nearly £1.5 million worth of kush, a potent and dangerous strain of marijuana. Charlotte, who was working in Surrey before her arrest, has been detained in Negombo Prison, where conditions are harsh. She maintains her innocence, claiming the drugs were planted.
