💨 Abstract
Charlotte May Lee, a 21-year-old British former air stewardess, was arrested in Sri Lanka for allegedly smuggling £1.2 million worth of synthetic drug kush hidden in her luggage. She claimed the drugs were planted in her suitcase, which she had left unattended at her hotel. Charlotte, who had recently been to Bangkok, was reportedly told by Sri Lankan authorities she could face 25 years in prison.
