💨 Abstract
British MP Cameron Thomas, who visited Ukraine to provide aid, was accused of improper behavior by sending inappropriate texts to his Ukrainian translator, including "I want you" and "I wish I could stay with you for a few days." The Lib Dem MP was in Kyiv with a delegation to mark the third country's war anniversary. His behavior was criticized for abusing his power. Security concerns were raised as Thomas used his personal UK phone in Ukraine, despite advisories to use burner phones.
