💨 Abstract
A British woman, Rebecca Turner, 36, and her boyfriend, Sam Melnick, 32, died in Thailand after unwittingly consuming a lethal mix of drugs. They mistook the powder for cocaine. Rebecca’s mother, Anita Turner, warned travelers to avoid recreational drugs in Thailand due to the dangers and unpredictability. The coroner ruled the deaths as drug-related. Rebecca had a history of substance misuse and mental health issues but was looking forward to her travels.
