💨 Abstract
A body was recovered from a canal near the Castlefield Bowl music arena in Manchester. Emergency services were called around 5 p.m. and but after a body was spotted in the water. The area has been cordoned off and an investigation is ongoing. A witness reported seeing a floating coat and later the emergence of a body from under nearby boats. Members of the public were evacuated. Greater Manchester Police is conducting the investigation.
