💨 Abstract
A British backpacker, Alicia Kemp, 24, faces up to 20 years in prison after a fatal e-scooter crash in Perth, Australia. Kemp was charged with causing the death of 51-year-old Thanh Phan, whom she struck from behind while riding the e-scooter with a passenger on a footpath. Kemp had been drinking for six hours before the crash. The court denied her bail due to perceived flight risk.
