💨 Abstract
Coventry Football Club has released eight players following their near-miss promotion to the Premier League. Despite a strong season under Frank Lampard, they lost in the play-off semi-final. Notable departures include Jamie Paterson, who joins Plymouth Argyle, and academy graduates Jack Burroughs, Ryan Howley, and Cian Tyler. Additionally, four under-21 players have left the club. Coventry has opted to extend the contracts of midfielder Jamie Allen and goalkeeper Luke Bell for another year.
