💨 Abstract
A new book, "The Monster of Harrods" by Alison Kervin, reveals the harrowing experience of a former Harrods employee, referred to as Belinda. She alleges that she was raped by Mohamed Al-Fayed, the owner of Harrods, and then coerced by store executives into having an abortion and signing a non-disclosure agreement. Belinda was left suicidal and scarred by the ordeal, which occurred nearly 30 years ago.
