💨 Abstract
Google is introducing an anti-theft feature for Android phones that will automatically reboot the device after three days of inactivity, making it harder for thieves to access. This update comes as phone thefts in London have surged, with one phone stolen every 7.5 minutes. The Met Police reported a 33% increase in phone thefts in 2024 compared to 2023.
