💨 Abstract
The UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) removed two Vodafone website adverts for misleading savings claims. The ads promised savings of up to £312 annually for SIM card packages, but the ASA found these savings were not genuine. The claims did not accurately reflect the immediately preceding prices or the prices after the promotions ended, according to a complaint from rival EE. Vodafone was directed to stop using these ads and ensure future claims are accurate.
