💨 Abstract
Starting June 3, Netflix will no longer support three old Amazon Fire devices: the original Fire TV box, the first Fire TV Stick, and the Fire TV Stick with Alexa voice remote. Users of these devices, which are over a decade old, must upgrade to a newer Fire TV device or cancel their Netflix subscription. Other streaming platforms may also drop support for these aging devices. Amazon has stopped releasing software and security updates for these first-generation Fire TV devices, making them potentially insecure.
