💨 Abstract
Scientists have identified a new species of long-necked sea monster, Traskasaura sandrae, found in Canada. This 85-million-year-old creature, measuring 12 meters, has unique primitive and derived traits, making it distinct from other plesiosaurs. It was named in honor of its discoverers and a cancer warrior. The fossil showcases the surprises hidden in the fossil record and is now on display in British Columbia.
