💨 Abstract
Rust, a popular survival game, will be removed from PS4 and Xbox One stores on May 29, 2025, and will stop functioning entirely later in the year. Current players must upgrade to the next-gen version for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S to continue playing. The new version will be free for existing owners but requires a next-gen console. The game's final "wipe" event is planned for October 2025.
