💨 Abstract
Microsoft has indefinitely paused development of a top-secret handheld Xbox console, originally planned for release in a few years. The company, apparently shifting priorities, will focus on improving Windows 11 gaming performance and support the Asus-built Project Kennan, a handheld gaming device. This decision comes amidst strong competition from Sony's PlayStation Portal, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and Valve's Steam Deck.
