💨 Abstract
The Birmingham Airport in the UK might debut a new flight route to a US destination, possibly New York, within the next eight years. The airport is undergoing a major £300 million renovation, which includes new CT scanners and security lanes. Currently, it serves 12 million passengers annually, with plans to increase capacity to 18 million by 2033.
