Music legend Sly Stone of Sly and the Family Stone has died at 82 after a prolonged battle with COPD and other health issues. The pioneering funk musician, born Sylvester Stewart, leaves behind a monumental legacy with his band, which included his siblings Freddie and Rose Stone. Formed in 1966, the group produced iconic hits like "Dance to the Music" and "Everyday People."
