💨 Abstract

Health officials are contacting individuals who stayed in specific cabins at Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park due to potential rabies exposure from bats. While none of the tested bats had rabies, the risk persists due to the large number of bats in the area. Up to 500 people who stayed in these cabins between May and late July are encouraged to receive prophylactic rabies shots if they had direct contact with bats or found them in their rooms.
