Daniel Dae Kim, known for TV roles in "Lost" and "Hawaii Five-0," has made history as the first Asian nominee for best leading actor in a play at the Tonys for his role in David Henry Hwang's "Yellow Face." Kim and Hwang, who has a long history of advocating for Asian representation, are both nominated. The play addresses issues of whitewashing in casting and the struggles of Asian immigrants.
