Taylor Fritz advanced to the semifinals of the National Bank Open after defeating Andrey Rublev. Fritz, the second seed, impressively served 20 aces, including the match-winning one. He will next face either Ben Shelton or Alex de Minaur. The two other semifinalists are Alexander Zverev and Karen Khachanov. The final is scheduled for Thursday. Fritz dominated the first set and overcame Rublev's resistance in the second.
