Jazz Chisolm Jr. put the New York Yankees ahead with a two-run double in the eighth inning, leading them to a 4-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Chisolm, who is batting .350 since returning from injury, drove in 2 runs. The Orioles had scored 2 runs in the first inning. The Yankees had been struggling, losing 7 of their last 8 games, and had rarely won when trailing after 7 innings.
