In a Tampa Bay Rays game, pitcher Hunter Bigge was struck in the face by a 105 mph foul ball from Baltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rushman. The incident occurred in the seventh inning, sending Bigge to the hospital for tests. Bigge, who was already on the injured list, remained conscious and communicative. The game resumed after an 8-minute delay, with the Orioles winning 4-1.
