Private equity firm Roark Capital has acquired Dave’s Hot Chicken for $1 billion. The brand, founded in 2017, offers Nashville-style hot chicken. Drake was an investor and Roark owns multiple restaurant chains, including Arby’s and Dunkin'. The leadership team, including CEO Bill Phelps and the founders, will remain in place.
