💨 Abstract
A user's lost iPhone, protected by Apple's "Find My" system, can be the target of a scam. After the iPhone is locked in "Lost Mode" threat actors located in countries like the Philippines may contact the user, claiming they have the phone and request the user to disable Activation Lock to reset the device, effectively wiping the owner's data.
