💨 Abstract
Thomas Manger, the U.S. Capitol Police Chief, announced his retirement after nearly four years of service. With 48 years in law enforcement, he has led the U.S. Capitol Police since July 2021 and previously served as police chief in Montgomery and Fairfax counties. Manger joined the U.S. Capitol Police following the 2021 Capitol attack, determined to improve the agency.
