💨 Abstract

Angel Barr, a 24-year-old nurse, experienced cardiac arrest during the Cherry Blossom 10-miler in April. She collapsed near Hains Point, but bystanders and emergency responders, including D.C. Fire and EMS and U.S. Park Police, quickly intervened. They administered CPR, defibrillated her, and transported her to George Washington University Hospital.
