💨 Abstract

A boil water advisory has been issued for Chevy Chase and Tenleytown in Northwest D.C. following a power outage at a pump station. Over 4,900 customers will experience low water pressure and should boil water before use. Power has been restored, but out of precaution, the advisory remains in effect until further testing is completed. Customers in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and other nearby counties are unaffected.
