A new Commanders stadium at the old RFK Stadium site is projected to create 30,000 jobs and generate $24 billion in economic output over 30 years, according to a report by Conventions, Sports & Leisure International. The stadium, part of a $4 billion project, aims to open for the 2030 season and is expected to bring in $5 billion in tax revenue, with over $60 million in the first year.
