💨 Abstract

The D.C. Council is holding public hearings on legislation to bring the Washington Commanders to D.C. with a new $3.7 billion stadium at the RFK Stadium site. The District would contribute $1 billion, while the team funds the rest. If approved, the stadium could open by 2030. The deal includes 6,000 housing units, with 1,800 affordable, plus retail and park space.
