A South Carolina Republican Congresswoman, Nancy Mace, has proposed renaming a section of 16th Street NW in D.C., previously known as "Black Lives Matter Plaza," to "Charlie Kirk Freedom of Speech Plaza" in honor of the slain conservative activist. Kirk was killed during a free-speech event in Utah. Mace's bill aims to honor Kirk's commitment to free speech, while D.C.
