💨 Abstract
President Donald Trump falsely claimed that Harvard University offers "remedial mathematics" courses, including basic arithmetic. In reality, Harvard introduced Mathematics MA5, a calculus course with extra support for foundational skills, due to gaps caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This course is not remedial but a new format of existing calculus classes. Harvard's rigorous admission standards and high average test scores among enrolled students contradict Trump's claims.
