A Russian-born Harvard researcher, Kseniia Petrova, was charged with attempting to smuggle frog embryos into the U.S. after being detained in February. Petrova, who is already facing deportation to Russia, was arrested at Boston's Logan International Airport. She stated she didn't realize the embryos needed to be declared, but prosecutors allege she planned to smuggle them.
