💨 Abstract

Malta, on July 30, 2025, announced it would recognize the state of Palestine starting in September, during the next UN General Assembly. This decision aligns Malta with over 145 countries, including France and the UK, which also expressed support for recognizing the Palestinian state. The move is aimed at pushing for a two-state solution while Israel opposes it, highlighting a global push for peace and Palestinian self-determination.
