💨 Abstract
The European Union's top officials will meet with Moldova's leaders in Chisinau to strengthen ties and discuss EU membership, security, and trade ahead of Moldova's parliamentary elections. The summit reaffirms the EU's support for Moldova's EU integration process and sovereignty amidst Russian interference allegations. Both sides aim to bolster pro-Western support in Moldova's upcoming elections. Since Moldova's EU accession depends on extensive reforms, it will receive financial aid from the EU to facilitate these changes.
