💨 Abstract
In Morocco, nine African migrants died from extreme cold near the Algerian border. The Moroccan Association of Human Rights attributed their deaths to the harsh conditions their exhausted bodies couldn't endure. The migrants were from Guinea and various sub-Saharan African countries. This incident highlights the dangers faced by thousands attempting illegal crossings from North Africa to Europe. Human rights groups are calling for better treatment of migrants and mechanisms to prevent such tragedies.
