Rae Luna Lagnese faced significant challenges transitioning from Northern Virginia Community College to George Mason University, struggling with anxiety and neurodivergency. Despite these hurdles, Lagnese secured the Katharine Z. Creane scholarship and aims to become a cognitive behavioral therapist. They overcame mental barriers through time management, resilience, and creative outlets like painting and crocheting.
