💨 Abstract
In Fairfax County, Virginia, a two-month sting operation called “Operation Caught in the Web” led to 16 arrests of online predators targeting children. The suspects, aged 20 to 65, attempted to meet young victims and brought items like contraceptives, alcohol, and drugs. Arrests came from various locations, including Canada, and additional arrests are anticipated due to shared communication among offenders.
