💨 Abstract

Saanvi Vangapalli and Kristen King, students from Fairfax County Public Schools, were recognized as Safety Patrollers of the Year by the American Automobile Association. Vangapalli, from McNair Upper Elementary, persistently ensured bus safety, ultimately impacting student behavior positively. King, from Canterbury Woods Elementary, managed bus assignments and learned sign language to communicate with deaf and hard-of-hearing peers, making a significant difference in their comfort and communication.
