đź’¨ Abstract
The Supreme Court unanimously revived a civil rights lawsuit against a Texas police officer who fatally shot Ashtian Barnes during a traffic stop over unpaid tolls in 2016. The court ordered the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to re-evaluate the case, instructing it to consider the "totality of the circumstances" rather than just the moment of the threat. Officer Roberto Felix Jr.
