💨 Abstract
A labor union leader, James Callahan, who admitted to failing to report over $315,000 in gifts from an advertising firm, was pardoned by President Donald Trump just before his sentencing. Callahan, former president of the International Union of Operating Engineers, accepted tickets and amenities but did not report them. The pardon was granted on the eve of his sentencing hearing, which was subsequently vacated.
