💨 Abstract
The U.S. has imposed sanctions on two key figures of the Mexican Cartel del Noreste, targeting Miguel Angel de Anda Ledezma and Ricardo Gonzalez Sauceda. The cartel, formerly known as Los Zetas, was designated a "foreign terrorist organization" by President Donald Trump. The Treasury Department aims to disrupt the cartel's operations, including its procurement of weapons and drugs and any violent activities.
