💨 Abstract
Attorney General Pam Bondi has appointed Terry Cole, the head of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), as Washington D.C.'s interim police commissioner. Cole, who recently became DEA head, was Virginia's secretary of public safety and has extensive law enforcement experience. Bondi's move comes after Cole's appointment and follows his previous roles fighting drug cartels and transnational criminal organizations. Bondi's directive gives Cole the powers of the D.C.
