đź’¨ Abstract
Starting in 2026, Aetna will stop offering individual and family health insurance plans through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace in Virginia and other states. This decision affects nearly 5,000 enrollees in Virginia. Aetna cited the inability to provide the same value as in prior years, though specific reasons were not disclosed. The move comes amid uncertainty over the renewal of ACA tax credits, which help lower premiums.
