đź’¨ Abstract
Over 1,000 Starbucks baristas at 75 U.S. stores went on strike to protest a new dress code implemented by the company. The new rules, starting May 14, 2025, restrict what employees can wear under their green aprons, limiting them to solid black shirts and specific denim bottoms. Starbucks said the change aims to enhance the appearance of its employees and create a more familiar atmosphere.
