💨 Abstract
In the High Atlas mountains, Kalaat M’Gouna is known for its Damask roses, thriving due to unique climate conditions and recent favorable weather. This year, the town is expecting a record harvest of 4,800 tons. The International Rose Festival, with various rose-themed attractions, celebrates this bounty. The roses, crucial to the local economy, are mainly cultivated by small-scale farmers using drip irrigation.
