💨 Abstract

Waymo's driverless robotaxis will start operating in Atlanta, expanding a partnership with Uber. Unlike Tesla's initial human-assisted robotaxi service in Austin, Waymo's vehicles will be completely driverless. Waymo and Uber aim to cover a 65-square-mile area in Atlanta, with plans to expand further. This move aligns with their road map and Uber's strategy to integrate autonomous technology after abandoning its own development.
