💨 Abstract

Prince Harry walked through a land mine field in Angola on Wednesday, following in his late mother Princess Diana's footsteps to raise awareness for the Halo Trust's work clearing explosives from old warzones, the same charity Diana supported in 1997. Diana’s advocacy helped push for a land mine ban treaty that year. Harry's visit, his second to Angola for this cause, highlights the ongoing danger from land mines left behind from the country's 27-year civil war.
